The North America organization includes two offices (in New Jersey and California) that focus on drug discovery, product development, and commercialization. We are currently seeking a student Intern to join our team. As a Marketing Oncology intern, you will work closely with the Marketing Department and the areas of the business that we support. This position is a paid, temporary internship eligible to juniors or seniors within a commutable distance of Princeton, NJ. This role is a hybrid role with some in-office time preferred. (will change based on job function)
Responsibilities: Working closely with the Oncology Marketing Team on assigned tasks. They may include:
- Promotional Resources:
- Partner with field force to gain insights into gaps in promotional tools/resources
- Engage creative agency to develop relevant tools/resources that align with strategic objectives and message platform
- Lead meetings with Promotional Review Committee to get content reviewed and approved
- Assess utilization and impact of tools/resources qualitatively and quantitatively
- Market Analysis and Product Strategy:
- Help analyze clinical profiles, strengths, and weaknesses of expected market entrant(s)
- Evaluate early competitive messaging, positioning, and physician perspectives for the expected entrant(s)
- Partner with market research team to build a market research study to evaluate physician expectations, perceptions, and ‘intent to use’ for expected market entrant(s)
- Pull through tactics to strengthen positioning of own product
- Omni-Channel Marketing:
- Work with marketing, digital, and analytics teams, and agencies to build educational content for disease state and product
- Customize content and messaging hierarchy for different audiences (Patients, Nurses, Physicians)
- Monitor execution through multiple channels and report on performance metrics
Qualifications/Requirements:
- This position requires candidates to be a rising junior or rising senior in college/university pursuing a career in Marketing.
- Candidates are required to live within a commutable distance of Princeton, NJ.
- Interns are required to be able to work from May 28th- August 9th 2024
- This position requires a minimum GPA of 3.0
- The ability to work a hybrid schedule is required
- Prior internship or co-op experience is preferred
- Major in a target area related to this role is required
- This position requires that candidates be able to work in the United States on a permanent and on-going basis without sponsorship
