WinnCompanies is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor II to join our team at Edgewood Apartments, a 84-units affordable housing and market community located in Westfield, MA.
This opportunity offers a typical work schedule Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm with a rotational on-call schedule of every 5 weeks.

WinnCompanies is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor II to join our team at Edgewood Apartments, a 84-units affordable housing and market community located in Westfield, MA.
This opportunity offers a typical work schedule Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm with a rotational on-call schedule of every 5 weeks.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a maintenance staff at the property on a day to day basis and perform as working supervisor when not supervising staff.
- Assist in hiring, developing, training and holding staff accountable to operating standards.
- Conduct and participate in weekly staff meetings.
- Diagnose, problem solve, and make repairs in areas including, but not limited to: appliances, carpentry, hardware accessories, masonry, painting, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
- Lead and train other maintenance technicians.
- Complete assigned service requests and repairs consistent with company operating procedures.
- Ensure vacant apartments are prepared for occupancy and market ready in accordance to company standards.
- Conduct preventive maintenance program, building and safety inspections, and annual unit inspections.
- Maintain grounds and curb appeal through snow removal, landscaping, and trash management activities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
- 1-3 years of supervisory experience.
- A current driver's license in good standing and ability to meet the driving records standards outlined in the Company Safe Vehicular Operations Policy.
- General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliance, and HVAC.
- Experience with computer systems, particularly Microsoft Office.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to supervise and work with a diverse group of people and personalities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Vocational or technical training.
- Familiar with NSpire inspections.
- CAMT certification.
- HVAC certification.
