This position is responsible for the comprehensive investigation and inspection of commercial buildings and structures to include one and two-family dwellings, mobile/manufactured homes, mobile home parks, and structures to ensure compliance with the property maintenance code for existing commercial and residential dwellings and structures which may be unsafe, unfit, or unlawful; the condemnation and closing of commercial buildings, vacant mobile/manufactured homes, residential buildings or structures; the vacating due to life safety, temporary safeguarding, and repair; and the demolition and debris removal of unsafe residential and commercial buildings, mobile/manufactured homes or structures.
