As a Security Officer - Unarmed Post - Part Time in Moncks Corner, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the site. Your role involves monitoring assigned areas, interacting with staff and visitors, and providing top-tier customer service. You will play a key part in maintaining a secure environment, responding to incidents, and upholding Allied Universal's values of reliability, teamwork, and integrity while supporting the daily operations of a dynamic logistics setting.

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor and report on conditions or activities that may impact the security-related integrity of the location.
• Communicate clearly with Allied Universal management, site personnel, and/or law enforcement as required.
• Maintain accurate records and logs of all patrols, incidents, and daily activities as required by site protocols.
• Support access control procedures to help to deter unauthorized entry to restricted areas within the logistics and distribution environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
