About the role

The Role:

The world’s largest restaurant company is seeking a talented and driven Technical Product Manager to lead the ongoing evolution of Byte Commerce’s Payment Capabilities. As a Product Manager at Byte by Yum!, you will be responsible for the strategic and tactical execution of technical solutions tailored for KFC, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut and The Habit Burger Grill.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in planning, prioritizing, and delivering complex technical software solutions in concert with engineering and design counterparts. Experience in managing a diverse set of stakeholders and sometimes-competing production-critical needs is key. To be successful, Product Managers at Yum! must be willing to dive in and become experts on the products we’re building including how we architect and create them.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Planning:

· Support and execute the payments strategy and roadmap to encompass both engineering and product requirements, ensuring alignment with company, brand, and technical goals.

· Serve as the primary contact for the Yum Commerce Payments capabilities, steering both product development and technical architecture.

· Evaluate and prioritize enhancement and intake requests from integrated applications, brands, and stakeholders across the globe.

· Lead and communicate quarterly product and capacity planning process.

· Work with the discovery teams to plan for new market launches and set expectations on timelines, delivery and roadmap. · Become a trusted partner to the global brands we support.

Delivery & Execution:

· Partner with stakeholders and other product teams to gather top-level scope and requirements.

· Lead the development team in understanding, refining, and executing on a roadmap.

· Be an invaluable, trusted partner to the brands we support, as well as engineering and design peers.

· Capture, track, and provide status on top risks, actions, issues, and dependencies.

· Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints.

· Identify key decision points for escalation and maintain decision logs.

· Proactively provide regular updates to stakeholders and the Yum! Leadership Team.

Qualifications:

· Minimum of 5+ years of Technical Product Management or equivalent product experience.

· Highly organized, detail-oriented, strategic leader with ability to track and manage multiple priorities.

· Experience with Jira & Confluence.

· Ability to read and author system diagrams and technical documents.

· Experience working in technical teams and understanding complex systems and products.

· Exceptional prioritization skills and influencing skills; You know how to organize execution and sell the prioritization decisions.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Deep experience in stakeholder management, managing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization across a global organization.

· Demonstrated problem-solving and negotiation skills.

· Big picture strategic thinker with ability to translate plans into an executable roadmap with key stakeholders Ability to work independently and collaborate with others effectively

Salary Range: $127,900-$160,200 annually + bonus eligibility. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.
