Mechanical Design Engineer

Mechanical Design Engineer - Process Development Team
• Use CAD tools to simulate, test and document new process tooling and fixtures.
• Create detailed specifications for new manufacturing equipment.
• Conduct, document and track design reviews.
• Generate project plan and document per Engineering Department procedures.
• Participate on and lead teams as required.
• Generate preliminary estimates for Capital Investment Plan.
• Conduct Stack-up analysis, be familiar with DFMEA, and Cpk/Ppk/Gage R&R.

Requirements/Experience
Mechanical Engineering or similar Engineering degree from a four-year college or university required, with 3 years minimum Engineering experience within an automation-manufacturing environment. CAD systems (Solidworks preferred), GD&T, tolerance analysis (stack-ups), DFMEA’s.

Candidate should possess analytical, interpersonal and communication skills, along with strong PC skills. Must be self-motivated and able to demonstrate the ability to manage difficult situations and be able to balance team and individual responsibilities.
