JOB SUMMARY:

Conducts safety audits of facilities, equipment and work in progress to ensure compliance with safety/fire safety standards and specifications and safety/fire safety equipment are in working condition | Determines safety training requirements and provides employees with safety training applicable to their work processes | Investigates accidents and/or fires to determine the root cause, circumstances and contributing factors | Develops recommendations and follow-up to prevent accident and/or fire recurrence | Maintains comprehensive knowledge of government safety/fire safety regulations

LOCATION & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: This is a remote position with travel required up to 20–40% of the time. We are currently accepting candidates based in Texas, Louisiana, Tennessee, Oklahoma, New Mexico, or Arkansas.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• 4 years / Bachelor's Degree (Required)

• Instead of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

• Ten (10) or more years of Experience in a related field (Required)

• No Licensure or Certification Required.

• Acquire and maintain knowledge of applicable Delek US safety standards, related regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

• Lead in safety-focused operational risk assessments, as needed, to help focus audit efforts and develop the organization's annual Safety Audit Plan.

• Lead the annual Safety Audit, including planning, risk identification, scope and audit program development, and drafting reports with value-added recommendations.
