Senior DevSecOps Engineer

Chartboost is looking for an experienced and motivated DevSecOps engineer to enable multiple software development team’s success through automation and security best practices. This role will lead the team’s DevSecOps solutions and be part of a highly successful team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, quick learner and has a track record of working with security in cloud environments and SDLC security. Impact you will make:

• Design, plan, and scale Chartboost’s infrastructure with security in mind
• Modernize and secure our applications in cloud-native environments including Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes and serverless
• Introduce security and compliance into SDLC by working with application security testing tools and CI/CD systems like Github Actions and Spinnaker
• Solve distributed systems challenges across services and levels of the stack

Who you are:

• You are a thoughtful person. You know and understand the complexity of systems but strive to build efficient and clean solutions for teams and yourself
• You have 3+ years of experience in info security technology or related field
• You have experience with software security, secure coding, or software assurance tools and techniques
• You have experience managing working with Google Cloud Platform(GCP) and AWS and have experience with IAM and related products.
• You have experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef
• You have experience creating CI/CD pipelines to deliver code to production environments
• You are comfortable coding in at least one major language, such as: Python, Go, Java

The following experience would be a plus:

• B.S. in Computer Science or related field
• Familiarity with Cloud Security Posture Management products and Vulnerability Management products
• Familiarity with code analysis and software composition analysis tools
• Familiarity with Kubernetes or other container technologies
• Operating production services on GCP/AWS

The pay range for this position in California at the start of employment is expected to be between $125,000 and $210,000 per year.  For applicants based in New York City and New Jersey at the start of employment is expected to be between $120,000 and $182,500 per year.
