Job Description:

General Dynamics IT is seeking an Operations Platform Engineer Senior to support large-scale migration and operations on a large, high-profile DOD contract. The I3TS program provides enterprise-wide IT support to enable DTRA’s Information Management & Technology Directorate (ITD) to consolidate, modernize, and continuously innovate the delivery of IT services and mission capabilities to DTRA’s internal and external mission partners operating in CONUS and OCONUS locations.

This position is located at Ft. Belvoir, VA.

Hiring for Multiple Levels

The Operations Platform Engineer shall provide subject-matter expertise and technical support to operations platform engineering-related activities for this program.

• Provide enterprise-level IT platform operations engineering-related services for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and JWICs environments.
• Plan and transition of IT systems to DoD enterprise or shared services, cloud environments and/or to hybrid operating environments.
• Deliver executive-level technical briefings and presentations to senior Government personnel.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5-10 years of experience providing enterprise-level IT engineering-related services. Experience providing enterprise-level IT engineering-related services within the scope of this Task Order for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and JWICs environments.
• Proficiency with enterprise platforms such as class storage and data protection technologies to include storage and backup arrays, SAN switches, backup software, and storage replication technology. 
• Experience supporting DevSecOps-enabled delivery methodologies, technologies, platforms, and/or pipelines.

• Must have ab Active DOD TS/SCI

The likely salary range for this position is $138,372 - $187,210. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
