Role Overview:
We are looking for a  Senior Product Owner / Business Analyst for our Hospitality Property Management System responsible for defining and developing functional and technical requirements and serving as an active member of the development scrum team.  Along with the senior teach leader in the scrum serve as scrum master for the team. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and product quality is essential.

What you will do:

• Develop and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.

• Own, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver features efficiently and effectively.

• Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and the development team, ensuring clear communication of requirements and managing expectations.

• Translate high-level product concepts and business objectives into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.

• Plan and conduct sprint ceremonies, including iteration reviews and retrospectives, to refine and adjust the backlog based on evolving customer needs.

• Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of new features, addressing any impediments during development.

• Gather insights from market trends and customer feedback to keep the product competitive and value-driven.

• Support the scrum team as a scrum master, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Product Management, or a related field (CSPO, PSPO, or equivalent certification is a plus).

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role, ideally within the hospitality or related industries.

• Proficiency in product management tools like JIRA and Confluence.

• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and development processes.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Proven ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, fostering trust and accountability.

• Technical acumen to discuss concepts with engineering teams and ensure alignment with product requirements.
