Join SADA as a Senior Enterprise Cloud Architect, Infrastructure -REMOTE
Your Mission
As a Senior Enterprise Cloud Architect at SADA, with a specialization in Infrastructure and Networking, you will have significant knowledge and experience with “everything cloud infrastructure related.” You will have held different roles throughout your extensive career enabling you to work with many different technologies and industries.
As part of your role, you will collaborate with various teams, including customers, engineering, sales, and Googlers.
You will oversee GCP Infrastructure projects for large and intricate client engagements, sometimes acting as our “account CTO.” You’ll run discovery calls, workshops, etc to work with customers, Google and Sada. You’ll provide estimations and work on Statements of Work (SOW) and supporting material. You will design world-class hybrid-multi-cloud solutions and solve hard problems.
You will have a hands-on approach, researching and presenting solutions, conducting experiments, and building prototypes to validate ideas and demonstrate the effectiveness of the solutions you recommend. You will sometimes spearhead the development of projects and lead other engineers to deliver on your vision.
SADA is a services-focused company and you will have the opportunity to support customers spanning every industry--including gaming, logistics, financial, retail, and SaaS--each with different use cases and objectives. You will obtain a breadth of skills and experience unparalleled at other companies.
What you would be doing on a daily basis:
- Work on different types of projects in various stages of development, including pre-sales/scoping, discovery, and architecting solutions
- Oversee executing projects that could be greenfield GCP landing zone implementations, public cloud re-platforming to GCP, migrations of data centers, or optimizing existing Infrastructure
- Prototype Proof of Concepts for customer/team feedback
- Quality-Review solutions delivered by other engineers on the project
- Deliver hands-on technical mentoring and leadership to engineers on the project, especially when using niche architectural patterns. Keep the communication channels with the client transparent to update on progress, gather feedback, and evaluate opportunities.
- Assist the Project Managers and Clients in making high-impact decisions to improve the quality/time-to-market delivery where relevant.
Pathway to Success
Your super-power will be in helping customers understand specifically how Google Cloud technology can fundamentally solve their business challenges with technology, enabling them to meet their goals.
You will inspire cross-functional leadership from our engineering teams. You will be trusted to guide large enterprise engagements and given the freedom to build new solutions that meet customer needs.
You will establish yourself as a renowned specialist within SADA, earning a reputation with customers and the Google Cloud sales and professional services teams for your wide-ranging domain knowledge. Other engineers and architects will routinely defer to your expertise when it comes to the delivery of project architectures. In your role, you'll manage client-oriented technical conversations. Collaborating with client architects and technology heads, you will design expansive and extended client initiatives.
Success will be measured by Client satisfaction, deals won, and your contributions to the team’s goals.
