As a Security Officer - Financial Site - Afternoon Shift in Armonk, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent financial institution, you will play a crucial role in monitoring and coordinating security-related activities throughout the location. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. - Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for financial institution environments.
- Monitor and coordinate communications between security personnel, law enforcement, and/or emergency services as required.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all communications, incidents, and dispatch activities.
- Utilize security-related technology and communication systems to support operations and help to deter unauthorized activities.
- Support regular and random patrols by coordinating personnel and resources around the business and perimeter as needed.
- Assist in the implementation of site-specific policies and procedures to help to deter potential threats and maintain order.
- Provide timely updates and information to management and/or relevant authorities regarding ongoing situations or incidents.

Minimum Requirements:
- Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
