This role oversees all aspects of the systems lifecycle to ensure program success and alignment with business objectives.</p><p></p><p></p><p><span>This position requires: </span><b>US Government Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Security Clearance Day 1</b><span>.  </span></p><p></p><p><b>Onsite: </b><span>This is an onsite role supporting our </span><b>Richardson, TX</b><span> location.</span></p><p></p><p><b>Sign-on Bonus Eligible </b></p><p></p><p><b>What YOU will do:  </b></p><p></p><ul><li><p>Provide day‑to‑day and long‑range leadership for a systems engineering team, including coaching, performance management, career development, and staffing</p></li><li><p>Lead system architecture definition, requirement decomposition, and technical planning activities across multiple programs</p></li><li><p>Ensure engineering rigor through consistent use of systems engineering processes, best practices, and compliance with organizational standards</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with program management, hardware, software, and specialty engineering functions to drive technical integration and successful execution</p></li><li><p>Oversee risk management, trade studies, technical decision‑making, and documentation</p></li><li><p>Establish and maintain technical roadmaps, capability development plans, and continuous improvement initiatives within the team</p></li><li><p>Manage resources, schedules, and priorities to support multiple concurrent programs</p></li><li><p>Drive a culture of accountability, innovation, inclusion, and high performance</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Qualifications You Must Have:</b></p><ul><li><p>Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience <b>or</b> an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience</p></li><li><p><span>Active and transferable U.S. Government (DoD) Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain an active U.S. Government (DoD) Top Secret Clearance</span></p></li><li><p>U.S. Citizen - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract</p></li><li><p>Extensive experience in systems engineering for complex hardware/software systems</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated experience managing or leading engineering teams.</p></li><li><p>Strong understanding of system architecture, requirements management, integration, and verification processes</p></li><li><p>Experience across the full systems engineering lifecycle (proposal through sustainment)</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication skills with ability to engage executives, customers, and cross‑functional stakeholders</p></li><li><p>Proven ability to balance technical depth with managerial responsibilities</p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><b>Qualifications We Prefer:</b></p><p></p><ul><li><p><span>Active and transferable U.S. Government DoD Top Secret Security Clearance prior to start date</span></p></li><li><p>Experience in defense, aerospace, or similarly regulated industries</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with model‑based systems
