Banyan Treatment Centers is recruiting a licensed LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC to serve as Clinical Director in Cathedral City, CA

The Clinical Director oversees company objectives, maintains a structured clinical organization, and leads interdisciplinary team meetings. They provide direct patient care, manage case services, and facilitate effective communication across departments. Additionally, they collaborate with senior management, enforce policies, evaluate staff performance, coordinate patient care with medical teams, and oversee daily facility operations.

 

Position Details:

  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday- Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm.
  • Location: On-site presence required in Cathedral City, CA.
  • Compensation: $105,000-125,000, depending on education, licensure, and experience.

Essential Functions:

  • Establishes company goals and objectives.
  • Maintains an effective clinical organizational structure and delegates authority for completion of responsibilities.
  • Functions as leader of multi-disciplinary Clinical Treatment Team/staffing meetings in absence of Executive Director.
  • Delivers direct patient services, including primary therapist duties, performing individual and group therapy sessions, and documenting events as needed.
  • Provides for staff development through supervision and education.
  • Facilitates communication with ancillary services and manages case management services.
  • Recruits and interviews new employees.
  • Attends clinical and administrative meetings to integrate inter-departmental information sharing.
  • Collaborates with the Senior Management Team.
  • Communicates policies, procedures, and emergency procedures clearly and accurately to staff.
  • Directs and supervises clinical staff and activities.
  • Evaluates clinical staff based on performance standards in a timely manner.
  • Initiates appropriate counseling and disciplinary action for policy infractions.
  • Evaluates the impact of therapeutic interventions on the therapeutic milieu.
  • Assists in formulating standards for patient care.
  • Collaborates with medical staff to coordinate patient care.
  • Participates in the formulation and implementation of patient treatment plans.
  • Uses good clinical judgment in moving patients through treatment levels.
  • Coordinates daily utilization review tasks and ensures appropriate outcomes for patients.
  • Responsible for daily operations of the facility's clinical department.

 

Preferences:

  • Work experience in the field of substance-use-disorder or mental health treatment.
  • Familiarity with the concept of LEAN/Six Sigma in Quality Improvement is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the EMR, KIPU.
