We are seeking a data-driven and detail-oriented Asset Management Analyst to join our Multi-Family Housing Operations team. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence the financial and operational success of a diverse affordable housing portfolio.

Position Summary:

The Asset Management Analyst is a hybrid role focused on supporting the financial and operational performance of a regional portfolio of affordable housing properties. In managing a broader portfolio, responsibilities also include data analysis, asset optimization, and collaboration with internal teams to align property performance with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor the financial, operational, and compliance performance of assigned properties.
• Analyze and prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
• Leverage internal business intelligence platforms to monitor key performance indicators.
• Identify operational efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities through data analysis.
• Review reserve withdrawal requests and manage HUD budget submissions and renewals.
• Recommend and track capital projects that align with long-term property goals.
• Stay informed on housing regulations impacting the portfolio.
• Monitor cash flow, returns, and investor distributions.
• Collaborate with Regional Managers and Facilities teams on inspections and compliance follow-ups.
• Guide Regional Managers on budget accuracy, financial reporting, and performance improvement.
• Facilitate recruiting, training, and development of operations staff.
• Support due diligence efforts and provide analysis for new projects or acquisitions.
• Perform ad hoc analyses and contribute to special projects as assigned.
• Build strong relationships with colleagues, agencies, and ownership groups.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field; graduate coursework a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial real estate, affordable housing, asset management, or financial analysis.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel proficiency required.
• Familiarity with real estate analytics and business intelligence platforms preferred.
• Yardi Property Management Software experience is a plus.
