Job Title: Senior Data Engineer
Job Location: Jacksonville, FL [Hybrid]
Job Type: Hybrid / Contract

REQUIREMENTS:

• 10+ years related work experience, professional experience with technical design and coding in the IT industry with UNIX or Linux shell scripting and Advanced SQL scripting/querying.
• Must have good SQL, Spark, Pyspark experience, worked on milllions of data sets.
• Experience with unit testing, release procedures, coding design and documentation protocol as well as change management procedures
• Experience include database knowledge in; SQL, MySQL, Oracle DB, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, dBase, MS Access, etc
• Data Engineer is responsible for development, programming, coding of Information Technology solutions using Python
• Excellent understanding of RESTful Architecture style.
• Excellent understanding of Python programming mode and required libraries to develop REST API Services.
• Kknowledge of PySpark as well as Hadoop environment required..
• Strong focus on working/analysis with very large data sets (millions of records).
• Technical curiosity and willingness to learn (asks questions, learns processes, data flow, etc.)
