Seed Quality Testing Coordinator

Corteva Agriscience is a leader in delivering novel and sustainable solutions for the future of agriculture. We are seeking a Seed Quality Testing Coordinator at our Seed Quality Testing laboratory in Tipton, IN. The coordinator will work to ensure testing accuracy, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement in lab processes while providing guidance and support to lab personnel. This role offers a strong foundation for future opportunities, with exposure to team coordination, training, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct and train on germination, viability and specialized seed testing across all crop types in accordance with Corteva and regulatory standards (AOSA, CFIA).
Ensure accuracy and efficiency in test results and data reporting. Learn all critical areas and how tasks are performed.
Collaborate on performance metrics and lab efficiency strategies.
Play a key role maintaining and improving lab documentation, procedures, and internal quality system standards.
Identify opportunities for process optimization and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and stakeholder communication.
Assist in timely communication, investigation, escalation, and conclusions of concerns, issues related to quality, operation, personnel, and equipment.
Qualifications:
Minimum of a scientific, agricultural, or engineering bachelor’s degree or four-year degree with equivalent in biology, biotechnology, agronomy, engineering, or life science.
1+ years of experience in agriculture preferred.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with the commitment to development.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn lab-specific software.
