Job Description

As a Security Officer Building Access Control in Santa Ana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document activity, communicate clearly with site teams and visitors, and respond to concerns with calm professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate for a tech, media, and/or telecom location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through the proper channels as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, and building perimeters to help to deter unwanted activity and identify irregular conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe activity on and around the property, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or maintenance issues according to site procedures.
• Complete required documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift summaries, and communicate relevant updates during shift turnovers.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
