The Search Experience team provides Miro's users with effortless access to their organization's information, so they can quickly find, open, and reference relevant content. We continuously improve the relevance and performance of search results across different content that Miro stores, such as boards, templates, embedded documents, and users.

About the Role

We are building a best-in-class search experience, so users can find what they need reliably, securely and fast.

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to help drive the design and implementation of the technology supporting this mission.

What you’ll do

• Build a performant, reliable and secure search experience for Miro. Lead development for backend-heavy projects to improve the relevance of search and recommendations.

What you’ll need

• Experience in the search domain and with relevant search technology (such as Elasticsearch, AWS OpenSearch, or Solr)
• Worked on similar systems before: high-load, multi-tenant, distributed, secure,  enterprise-grade
• Experience designing, building, and operating microservices
• Ability to closely collaborate with peers, share knowledge and mentor where needed
