Great Hill is seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect in the Patuxent River, MD, area. The Enterprise Systems Architect will provide senior-level architecture and technical leadership in support of the Naval Air Systems Command (NavAir), specifically within the Digital Analytics, Infrastructure and Technology Advancement (DAiTA) Group and the Naval Leveraging Innovation, Frameworks, and Technology (LIFT) initiative. The incumbent will be responsible for the design, governance, and integration of enterprise architecture solutions that align with the strategic objectives of the Naval LIFT program. This position requires close collaboration with senior Naval LIFT leadership, technical stakeholders, and program management to develop innovative, scalable, and secure enterprise solutions that enhance operational effectiveness and directly support the warfighter.
Position Overview

Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise architecture planning and implementation to ensure strategic alignment between Navy LIFT’s business goals, technology roadmap, and mission requirements.
- Evaluate existing systems, identify modernization and interoperability opportunities, and define technical strategies that improve system performance and lifecycle efficiency.
- Develop and maintain enterprise architecture standards, frameworks, and policies to guide solution design and technology adoption across the program.
- Provide expert technical consultation and independent recommendations to senior Navy leadership regarding technology investments, integration, and risk management.
- Conduct research, technology assessments, and test and evaluation (T&E) of emerging solutions to identify innovative capabilities applicable to Navy LIFT and Naval IME operations.
- Support Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), portfolio management, and enterprise integration efforts to ensure end-to-end architectural consistency and mission alignment.
- Mentor and provide technical oversight to junior engineers and analysts, fostering knowledge transfer and professional development.
- Develop detailed technical documentation, white papers, and executive briefings that effectively communicate architectural concepts and strategic impacts.
