Work Environment The work setting at our rehabilitation facility is structured to facilitate optimal patient care, featuring state-of-the-art equipment and resources designed for various therapeutic modalities. As a full-time on-site Physical Therapist, you will be working in a collaborative environment, closely interacting with other healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and medical doctors. This cooperative setting is instrumental in delivering holistic care to all our patients. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify their objectives and requirements. Manage a patient load of up to one individual per hour to ensure personalized attention and care. Develop and implement detailed treatment plans that incorporate a wide array of therapeutic techniques, focusing on evidence-based practices. Administer hands-on therapies aimed at increasing clients' range of motion and mobility. Encourage non-surgical alternatives to improve patient outcomes, while minimizing reliance on medication. Create tailored fitness and wellness programs that cater to the individual needs of each patient. Motivate and support patients throughout their treatment regimen to optimize their recovery and functional capabilities. Regularly evaluate patient outcomes and document progress meticulously to ensure effective communication within the care team. Patient Population / Client Focus As part of our commitment to comprehensive care, you will work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain conditions. You will be instrumental in promoting a health-conscious way of life by improving patients’ strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination. Qualifications A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) from an accredited institution. Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida. Unblemished record with no disciplinary actions on your license. Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to design and implement effective exercise regimens. Experience with electronic medical records software, such as WebPT, is highly desirable. Preferred Experience Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is strongly preferred and will set you apart as an ideal candidate. A background in working with a diverse patient demographic will enhance your ability to contribute optimally to our team. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 95,000 annually , commensurate with experience, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
