The shift will be Monday - Friday daylight business hours, with some travel to start during onboarding and training.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of technical systems & logistics of the distribution process by controlling merchandise flow and labor costs directly in all departments across multiple shifts.
Evaluate current work methods and determine ways to eliminate inefficiencies
Design initiatives and develop strategies to increase the effectiveness of logistics functions
Develop and execute action plans for improvements to meet company goals and objectives
Direct inventory management, cycle counts, and physical audits maintaining accuracy standards
Implement changes in business needs using project management experience
Manage all aspects of training, development, performance, and accountability for team members in daily operations to ensure a high degree of safety, service and quality.
Plan and coordinate work, monitor and evaluate the performance of DC associates, supervisors and managers
Ensure that the flow of product through the DC is maximized for efficiency and cost.
Sustain high Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met and prioritized.
Maintain a global view of the supply chain to maximize efficiencies and maintain inventory integrity from vendors to our stores.
Work with cross platform business partners to ensure multiple directives are met
Develop and recommend budget requirements for the DC
Maintain a personnel structure and staffing level, to accomplish the distribution center needs in an effective and efficient manner
Maintain all established through-put standards
Meet budget goals and productivity standards
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, or related field
10-15 years of experience in managing multiple DC functions such as receiving, shipping, processing and back stock and significant supervisory experience that includes the management of multiple supervisors.
Minimum of 10 years management experience
Working knowledge of YMS
PC proficiency in MS Office
Proficient in Manhattan products WM and LM
Strategic mindset and understand of the supply chain
Demonstrated planning & decision-making skills
