The Georgia-Pacific Engineering team is looking for a Converting Project Manager to lead the successful implementation of capital projects in the Towel and Tissue converting and packaging operations as well as the Dixie® operations. A successful candidate will be able to understand and develop relationships with the facilities and division leadership team, be able to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, be partner focused, and continually seek innovative ways to improve project execution.

This role is a Green Bay position as part of an engineering and project management organization. The successful candidate will provide support to our manufacturing facilities and can expect to travel. The amount will vary at times but should not exceed 50% on average per year.

What You Will Do

·               Develop and Execute project investment venture summaries with full responsibility for managing scope, schedule, and estimates while applying judgment, initiative, economic and critical thinking skills.

·               Build and grow relationships with internal teams and external preferred partners.

·               Project management of select projects as needed to support resourcing demands

·               Develop and evaluate investment alternatives that provide the best long-term value creation solution, coordinating with the Facility, Business, Engineering, Sourcing and Legal teams.

·               Work with Procurement and Sourcing teams to align on equipment and construction contracting strategies, including bidding, cost evaluation, selection, and award.

·               Manage third parties including but not limited to outside consultants, contractors, and technical resources.

·               Seek and use best knowledge and proactively share knowledge while embracing challenge to drive innovation.
