In this role, you’ll lead high-profile projects, influence brand direction, and create standout work across print, digital, and social—using the latest tools, including AI-assisted design, to push ideas further.
You’ll collaborate closely with communications, marketing, and cross-functional partners to turn great ideas into irresistible visuals, keeping our brand playful, polished, and unmistakably us. This role owns the creative process from concept through execution.

Responsibilities Include:
- Under direction from Design Services Manager, leads development of strategic and tactical creative designs primarily focused in support of Wells’ consumer brands, corporate brand materials, and internal Wells functional departments, all while following branding guidelines and using suitable software.
- Partners with the Corporate Communications team to develop on-brand creative assets that translate communications strategies into compelling visual storytelling concepts to support our mission and growth of our corporate reputation.
- Works with the Workflow Manager to organize project lists and deadlines, and ensures timely project delivery. Reviews assigned projects and collaborates with the design team during crucial proofing stages, maintaining consistency with brand architecture, design goals, and legal standards. Attends press checks when necessary to verify quality.
- Partners with business stakeholders to define design objectives, create briefs, propose concepts, and designs creative assets for internal and external communications applications.
- Delivers creative design work independently, meeting both timelines and budgets to support key initiatives.
- Able to be a creative problem-solver by leveraging new tools and concepts (AI, unique design techniques, etc.) to strengthen unique design ideas, automate routine tasks, and improving the visual content creation process— while keeping up with new trends to deliver innovative and effective graphic solutions.
- Assists the Design Services Manager on projects as assigned and necessary to support the full Design Services workload, and partners with other creative designers to ensure the full project list is supported and completed on time, and on-brand.
- Bachelor's Degree, preferred.
- A minimum of 3-5 year’s experience in the graphic design field.
- Knowledge of Macintosh computer and Adobe suite a must.
- Work requires handling lightweight materials or equipment requiring limited effort.
The base pay range for this position is $62,295 to $96,013 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This pay range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.
