Multi Shot Operator 3rd Shift

Description

SUMMARY: Basic level of injection molding machine operation following demonstrated directions. Operates one or more machines under prescribed conditions after others complete set-up. Work includes cycling the machine, removing scrap material from the parts, checking molded parts by gaging and visual inspection, as prescribed. Refers all deficiencies to supervisors or leads.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs basic mold press operations.
• Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum one year manufacturing related experience.
• Ability to followed demonstrated directions.
• Good communication of the English language, both written and spoken.
• Ability to read written instructions, use simple math and use basic hand held measuring tools.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Should be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs.
