Visiting Student - CSE - Long, Jalyn - 5.18.26

This is a visiting student within DOE's RENEW project "Developing the Photocatalytic Workforce".
The main objectives of this project are to increase our understanding of light-driven chemical reactions and to train students how to conduct research in the interdisciplinary field of solar photochemistry. To achieve this, the current project brings together researchers and students/trainees from three universities, Chicago State University (CSU), Norfolk State University (NSU), and Elmhurst University (EU), and the Solar Energy Conversion Group at Argonne National Laboratory. Within this visit at Argonne National Laboratory, students are supposed to become familiar with research at a DOE National Laboratory. They will do tours on the Argonne campus, talk to scientists, attend seminars, and shadow scientists in the laboratory. 
 

Education and Experience Requirements

For the Position Requirements section, please include the following:
• The entirety of the appointment must be conducted within the United States.
• Must be 18 years or older at the time the appointment begins.
• Applicants must be:
o Currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate studies at an accredited institution.
o Graduated from an accredited institution within the past 3 months; or
o Actively enrolled in a graduate program at an accredited institution.
