ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Repair small appliances like TV’s, telephones, and light fixtures.
• Preform basic plumbing including sink and shower repairs
• Basic carpentry includes drywall patching and painting.
• Electrical duties can include small component replacements and circuit trouble shooting.
• We will also teach you how to maintain our HVAC systems.
• We fix our kitchen appliances in-house.
• When problems in rooms are resolved, we turn our attention to the mechanical systems around the hotel, including our boilers, chillers, and air handlers.
• The duties listed are just a small part of what we do. We believe in continuous training.
• Other duties, as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Must possess knowledge concepts of materials, equipment, and tools characteristic to facilities maintenance
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with general building repair and maintenance, required
• Must have valid driver’s license without limitations or restrictions and meet company’s insurability standards
• Employment for this job is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check
• 2 years of previous work history/education required
• Communicate clearly in English, both verbal / non-verbal, and written
• Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management
