About the role

Perform professional Employee Health Care, Occupational Health medical services for examination, diagnosis, care and treatment of patients, within the parameters of experience and professional training. Functions independently to perform history and physical for appropriate patient and or consultation as needed. Perform injury follow up care for all employee injuries. Manage all Work Compensation Cases for employees. Maintain all KHI employee health records in a timely, orderly fashion consistent with existing policies and procedures while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality. Review employee post-exposure to blood and body fluid, TB exposures and cytotoxic drugs, for all KHI patients per the CDC and OSHA guidelines. Record examination, diagnosis, and treatment notes that meet record documentation requirements. For those patients whose medical needs are beyond our scope of services, make patient referrals to appropriate specialty services. Assists with the provision of medical in accordance with facility, state, and federal regulations. Comply with all regulatory, organizational, and departmental statutes, policies, and procedures. Review and revise clinic policies, procedures and protocols to ensure medical appropriateness and regulatory compliance. 

Qualifications: Must possess a current license to practice medicine in the state of Arizona and DEA
