About the Team…

At Walmart, providing and improving access to affordable nutritious food is central to Walmart’s core business. A critical component of this is ensuring Walmart offers products under the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC). As a Senior Manager II on the WIC/SNAP Compliance team, you will have responsibility for the development and maintenance of programs designed to ensure compliance with WIC and SNAP requirements for products sold by Walmart and Sam’s Club.

What you’ll do…

  • Build WIC and SNAP compliance programs to ensure compliance with regulatory obligations
  • Monitor program execution through KPIs and KRIs, leading continuous improvement initiatives to improve team efficiency 
  • Work with the team to identify and prioritize WIC/SNAP compliance problem statements and work with tech to build solutions.
  • Collaborate across stakeholders to ensure program awareness and communicate change impact to other business areas (i.e., Merchant teams, Government Affairs, Field Associates)
  • Lead by example

What you will bring…

  • Project, Product or Program Management experience
  • Organization, discipline, and the ability to manage competing projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication and leadership skills; Ability to work cross-functionally to build strong work relationships resulting in program improvements
  • An action-oriented, resourceful and proactive approach taking the right initiative
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years of compliance experience, with an emphasis on program building and execution
  • Juris Doctor degree
  • Compliance and legal research experience
  • Data Analytics & Visualization skills - Excel, Tableau, Power BI
