Purpose of Role/Summary:
The role involves monitoring and managing operational and regulatory risks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. It includes developing risk mitigation strategies to safeguard company operations while supporting various departments in identifying and addressing risk-related issues. Additionally, the position focuses on enhancing the company's risk management framework to promote growth and stability.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify, assess, and manage operational risks across all departments including Compliance, Legal, Sales, IT, Customer Experience, HR, Marketing, Project Management, and Financial Education
- Creating both a risk matrix and an authority matrix for each department and procedure respectively
- Work hand in hand with compliance and Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures
- Conduct regular risk assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Provide risk reports and insights to senior management and stakeholders
- Facilitate risk awareness training and workshops for employees
- Any other duties relevant to the role
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or related field
- 5+ experience in a similar position
- Professional certifications such as Certified Risk Manager (CRM), Certified Risk Professional (CRP), or equivalent are preferred
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and risk management techniques. Additional training in advanced analytics and machine learning is desirable
- Fluency in spoken and written English language
- Strong skills in reading and writing in other languages is a plus
