As a Research & Technology Execution Manager you will be accountable for delivering organic and in-organic R&T activities to support the IET technology strategy and defining and delivering an IET wide Open Innovation strategy.
Fuel your passion
As Research & Technology Execution Manager you will be responsible for:
- Managing, coaching & mentoring a global team to deliver organic and in-organic Research & Technology activities to the IET businesses in support of the IET Technology Strategy
- Scouting for strategic inorganic technologies & perform due diligence to position for partnering or acquisition
- Driving and initiating strategic external technology collaborations with partners and customers and enabling execution
- Gathering technology intelligence and develop technology competitive landscape to enrich decision making
- Defining and delivering an IET-wide Open Innovation strategy to inspire organic and in-organic technology ideas to influence the IET Technology Strategy
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or related technical discipline.
- 15 years professional experience in a technical discipline/s
- Experience of managing & developing a global team with broad technical capabilities
- Experience of defining & delivering projects in a global organisation
- Excellent influencing, communication and engagement skills from junior to senior executive levels to achieve goals
- Business acumen with the ability to link technology and commercial skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English
- Be willing & able to travel

- Have prior experience of completing due diligence activities on in-organic opportunities
- Have prior experience of managing technology at the burgeoning phase
- Have prior experience of developing & managing collaborations with external partners
- Have prior program management experience
