Pay Rate: 31.25 - $42 / hour, depending on years of experience.
Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. We are currently seeking a Full-time Night Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Substance Use Disorder (SUD) team at Maryland Correctional Institution - Hagerstown located in Hagerstown, Maryland.
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Substance Use Disorder) is responsible for conducting nursing practices and procedures relative to substance use addiction services/medicine. This person provides direct patient care to individuals struggling with substance abuse and addiction. He/she must be familiar with substance use, treatment modalities and detoxification protocols.
Shift: Night
Qualifications
- Licensed LPN with an active license to practice in Maryland
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Minimum of one year of work experience as an LPN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility preferred
- Two years of experience working as a LPN
- Corrections experience preferred
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
