Due to the ambitious growth of RWE, the O&M Design & Implementation Team are recruiting an O&M Infrastructure Manager. The O&M Infrastructure Manager will oversee and coordinate all building activity of harbour O&M Infrastructure across RWEs future portfolio, working closely with many key internal and external stakeholders. RWE currently has multiple offshore wind projects under construction along with a significant development pipeline.

 

As the O&M Infrastructure Manager, you will work alongside key internal stakeholders and be responsible for ensuring a consistent approach to the design & development of harbour O&M infrastructure assets between Financial Investment Decision (FID) and Commercial Operations Date (COD). Through this consistent approach, you will ensure that lessons learned are passed between projects and that RWE is continually improving the way harbour O&M Infrastructure assets are developed, ensuring best-in-class operational results are achieved from day one of the operations.

 

Your future plans:

• Develop a strategy of harbour O&M infrastructure development across RWEs future portfolio, with an immediate focus on UK & EU, mid to long-term focus globally
• Close alignment & collaboration with key internal stakeholders such as HSE, Operations Regional Heads, Marine & Logistics, Construction, Development, Procurement, Legal, Finance etc
• Internal & external stakeholder mapping & engagement strategy to ensure effective scope delivery
• Day-to-day management of contract staff procured to support RWEs harbour O&M Infrastructure activities
• Day-to-day management of suppliers procured to develop RWEs harbor O&M Infrastructure assets, through and with the support of wider interlinked internal stakeholders
• Develop and implement standardised approach to harbour O&M Infrastructure development across RWE's future pipeline, which is adaptable to local requirements & legislation
• Ensure consistent project management methodology is used across projects
• Ensure communication & reporting are clear and consistent from each project within your area of responsibility
• Identify and evaluate synergy, continuous improvement, and technological innovation concepts to ensure continuous improvements & positive business case impact where achievable
• Provision of technical, operational, and budget-related due diligence as and when required

 

Your profile:

• Advanced communication and leadership skills with the ability to create an inclusive & positive culture
• Significant stakeholder management skillset & experience, along with extensive cultural awareness
• Significant project management experience across regions and large amounts of stakeholders
• Understanding of infrastructure construction & offshore wind O&M base design would be beneficial
• Good knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental legislation, applicable to offshore wind projects generally
• Ability to proactively identify conflict, and provide solutions leading to a recommendation and successful close-out
• Be results-oriented, able to meet tight deadlines, and produce clear and concise information/ options/ decisions for senior management
• Willingness to visit project locations and spend time away from base location for business needs
• Ability to challenge the work of others in an effective but sensitive manner, considering cultural differences
