About the role

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

Anduril’s Lattice software platform integrates together many sensors into a single cohesive view of the world, providing needed context for our users. Anduril is seeking an experienced developer to join the core Maps group that is a centerpiece of the Anduril Lattice platform. With our focus on defense and national security, Maps play a critical role on the platform to ensure that front-line decision makers and robotic systems have the best information about their environment available. The technologies that back our Maps services must be reliable and operate correctly across a variety of hosting environments, serving heterogenous data sources that cover our mission needs, and provide the information that is needed across all domains. You will be building infrastructure that humans and robots will depend upon to understand and interact with the world.

In this role you will be a partner with many other parties to define and execute on the Maps roadmap. You will also work closely with operators, customers, and account leads to understand how our platform is used, to help identify gaps in our offering, build a plan, and then execute.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be working alongside a team of engineers with a diverse set of backgrounds and skills. Anduril has a collaborative culture with many opportunities for ownership. As an early member of the team, your decisions today will have a large impact on the company now and into the future, as well as our customers. This is an opportunity to join a small and talented team to help make the Anduril Maps experience a world class offering for our customers.

  • Support and iterate with hardware and software groups across Anduril who use geospatial data to fulfill diverse mission requirements.
