Salary Range: $45,000-$54,000 Salary is commensurate with experience. Starting salary within the range provided is based on the candidate’s relevant experience and skills for the role.

The Administrative Assistant provides high-level administrative support to the President of Eurasia Foundation and serves as the primary liaison with the Board of Trustees, coordinating all board events and activities. The Administrative Assistant manages expense processing, the President’s Office files, and scheduling meetings. In addition, this individual assists other teams across the organization as needed.
Essential Functions
Board of Trustees
- Serve as main point of contact for Board of Trustees and Advisory Council
- Coordinate all board events, including dinners, full board meetings, committee meetings, and board member orientations
- Take minutes at board and committee meetings
- Manage and update board files including board directory, advisory council directory, class terms document, board calendar, etc.
- Manage Board of Trustees and Advisory Council biographies on website
- Provide support to trustees as requested
- Manage Advisory Council outreach through email communication and events
President’s Office
- Provide administrative support to president and other teams as needed
- Reconcile departmental credit card on a monthly basis
- Process payments (purchase invoices) in financial management software
- Provide temporary support to other teams, as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Education
- Bachelor’s degree and coursework in a relevant field such as International Relations
Qualifications/Experience
- 1-2 years of administrative work
- Experience with or capacity to learn software such as Salesforce and Serenic Navigator
- Experience taking meeting minutes highly desirable
- Highly organized, sophisticated interpersonal skills, and professional and positive demeanor
- Ability to multi-task, work across different teams, and take initiative
- Deep curiosity about, respect for, and demonstrated interest in other cultures
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
