JOB SUMMARY
The Department of Surgery is recruiting for a Senior Education Coordinator, Anatomy
This position is responsible for overseeing the business operations and administration of the Anatomy section and Anatomy lab courses. Key duties include managing the division's financial performance, controlling expenses, and ensuring the efficient execution of administrative and operational tasks. The role encompasses recruitment and onboarding of faculty and staff, facilities management, inventory oversight, and leadership in strategic planning and project management. Additionally, the position ensures compliance with university and department policies, regulatory requirements, and records retention standards.
The candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support to faculty, including managing calendars, coordinating meetings, arranging travel, and processing expense reimbursements. Other responsibilities include supervising teaching assistants, managing bi-weekly student payroll, coordinating lab assignments, and overseeing student worker transitions. The role also involves organizing course materials, scheduling conference rooms, managing laundry services for lab scrubs, and acting as a liaison for students in the lab.
Candidates should be aware that the work environment may include limited exposure to cadavers, though this position does not require direct interaction, handling, or preparation of cadavers.
