JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Penn State DuBois is accepting applications for a part-time Head Men's Basketball Coach.

Job duties to include:

• Developing and implementing a training program that includes physical conditioning, basketball skills, and team strategies.
• Leading and guiding the players during games and practices/
• Analyzing team/player performances data and making adjustments to improve outcomes
• Evaluating players, conducting practices, and overseeing assistant coaches
• Developing game strategy and providing direction to team during games

Requirements, qualifications, and/or competencies:

• 1-3 years college basketball experience
• Bachelors Degree

 

BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES

This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
