At Perfetti van Melle we would like to prepare for the future and accelerate our performance and growth by optimizing processes, modernizing technology, and improving ourselves. Therefore, we are looking for an excellent Packaging Specialist to join us in our Gum Factory in Poland, Skarbimierz.

 

In the Packaging Specialist role, you will:

• Responsible of packaging development projects for new launches and Skarbimierz Poland, and external manufacturers
• Lead the line trials on-time, on budget. Resolve technical/technological issues arising in the packaging process
• Define packaging specifications for Primary / Secondary and Transport Packaging, technical drawings and prepare the pallet configurations and logistics information, also prepare and use test methods and procedures/instructions for industrialization
• Participate in the development process of new packaging materials
• Coordinating AW approval process
• Perform analyses of packaging processes, identifies any critical points/opportunities, and proposes improvement solutions. Build & implement agreed plan to obtain identified goals
• Manage execution of Value Engineering/Productivity and sustainability projects

We would like you to bring in:

 

• 2-3 years of experience in a packaging role
• Bachelor’s degree as a minimum in a specific subject (packaging technology, chemical/food/process/mechanical engineering) MSc is a plus
• Knowledge of all materials, methods and processes used in the packaging sector
• High sense of quality and responsibility and ideally knowledge of the GMP environment
• Planning and delivering multiple priorities, able to work to deadlines.
• Technical curiosity and collaborative mindset
• Fluent English both written & spoken
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Preferably experience in multinational environment
