Senior Associate - Corporate Privates
Corebridge FinancialAbout the role
Who we are
Corebridge Institutional Investments’ Private Credit Group (“PCG”) invests on behalf of Corebridge Financial’s life & retirement insurance companies. PCG manages a $27 billion portfolio across several asset classes, including Corporate Privates (“CP”), Infrastructure, Asset Backed Securities, and Leveraged Capital (high yield and mezzanine securities). The investment grade investments are typically long-term, fixed rate debt securities issued by public or private companies outside of the public bond market, in a range of industries and geographies. The below investment grade investments are typically short-term floating rate loans issued by private companies across a range of industries and geographies.
The Senior Associate position is for an early to mid-career investment analyst on the CP team, which manages $10 billion invested in 200 investment grade quality credits across the globe. The main objective of this role is to add value to our internal Corebridge Financial subsidiary clients and external clients by effectively managing a portion of their capital. More specifically, new investment recommendations and amendment and restructuring negotiations must be conducted (with an appropriate level of guidance and oversight from more experienced analysts) using good judgment on credit, structure and pricing with the goal of providing appropriate levels of protection and return for the risk taken. The analyst will be exposed to all aspects of the underwriting process and given the opportunity to develop fundamental fixed income investing skills.
