The Salesforce System Architect uses innovation to lead the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions that align with business objectives and drive operational efficiency. As an experienced Salesforce System Architect, you will be responsible for enhancing the technical architecture based on the system roadmap, ensuring scalability, and integrating Salesforce with other enterprise systems. You will work closely with stakeholders, business analysts, developers, and administrators to deliver robust and secure Salesforce solutions that meet the needs of the organization.Ā  This role requires a deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, including Health Cloud, Data Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and other Salesforce products, as well as expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and integration tools. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully delivering complex Salesforce projects and a passion for leveraging technology to solve business challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

Salesforce Architecture and Design:

  • Define and document the overall Salesforce architecture, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
  • Design scalable and secure Salesforce solutions, including data models, workflows, and integrations.
  • Develop and maintain architectural blueprints, technical roadmaps, and best practices for Salesforce implementations.
  • Ensure that Salesforce solutions adhere to industry standards, security protocols, and compliance requirements.

System Integration and Customization:

  • Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems, such as ERP, marketing automation, and data warehouses, using APIs, middleware, and ETL tools.
  • Oversee the development of custom applications, components, and features using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components.
  • Optimize Salesforce configurations, including custom objects, fields, workflows, and validation rules, to meet business needs.

Technical Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to Salesforce developers, administrators, and other team members.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define use cases, and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Conduct code reviews, provide feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for Salesforce-related questions and challenges.

Performance Optimization and Maintenance:

  • Monitor and optimize the performance of Salesforce applications and integrations.
  • Identify and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to business operations.
  • Plan and execute Salesforce platform upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
  • Implement and maintain data governance policies, including data quality, security, and retention.

Training and Documentation:

  • Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for end-users and technical teams.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for Salesforce configurations, integrations, and processes.
  • Stay updated on Salesforce releases, features, and best practices, and recommend improvements to existing systems.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree (or equivalent work experience) with 4+ years experience supporting environments in AWS and/or Salesforce.
  • Experience with Salesforce based solutions.
  • Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience with Networking (e.g. AWS VPC, DNS, CIDR/Routing).
  • Experience implementing compliance with government regulations such as FedRAMP, FISMA, and NIST 800-53.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Ā  Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
