Job Description

The 84th Annual Sturgis Rally is almost here! And we're looking for crew members to support J&P Cycles to make this the most epic event yet. 

Our support team is the unsung heroes of the rally. They are the backbone of the event, working tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure a seamless experience for all attendees. From maintaining a pristine environment to providing essential amenities and top-notch customer service, their dedication is the foundation for an unforgettable rally. This position will support J&P Cycles before, during, and after the 2024 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.  

Our Seasonal Events Associates Will: 

• Keep the Party Clean: Be a cleanliness champion and keep the rally grounds spotless, emptying trash receptacles as needed.
• Fuel the Good Times: Ensure our coolers stay fully iced up and well stocked.
• Master the Motorcycle Maze: Become the parking pro, guiding riders to their perfect spot.
• Chip In: be willing to lend a helping hand as needed in any other areas that could use your support. We are a team that believes there's no job too small and we're all in it together; being a seasonal associate means you'll uphold that mentality as well.

No Experience Needed: Your love for bikes is your ticket to an epic adventure! We'll teach you everything you'll need to know.
Perks & Benefits: $17.00/hr (with overtime for hours worked over 40) plus free lunch & dinner. You'll also have access to our generous employee discount during your time working with us!
Schedule: Must be able to work every day of the rally from July 31st-August 10th, 8:45am-5:30pm.

Qualifications

We Need Associates With:

• Enthusiasm, Enthusiasm, Enthusiasm!
• The ability to clearly communicate and vocalize instructions. Can your voice carry? We'll need you to be able to consistently shout over the loud pipes of bikes with equally loud crowd noise.
• Availability to work all days and hours of the event: July 31-August 10th, 8:45-5:30pm daily.
• A willingness to represent J&P Cycles in a manner consistent with our Core Values.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is frequently required to stand and/or walk for prolonged period of time; and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus.  The team member will be required to work outdoors with exposure to weather conditions, which may include bright sunlight, heat, cold, rain, or cloud cover.  The team member must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  Must be able to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
