Working in a team environment to assist engineers in day to day activities including but not limited to:
- Performing design based on project scoping and site visits
- Utilizing CAD software to create construction drawings for projects
- Preparing relay operational one-line drawings
- Validate estimating prices and equipment units, ensuring material is properly ordered and staged for upcoming projects
- Managing projects that are in construction
- Completion of as-built documentation
- Participate in weekly planning coordination calls
- Work on special projects to assist in improving grid reliability
- Responding to equipment failures
- Support lab testing and operations
- Support of business analytic processes through data mining and reporting, as well as performing a wide variety of detailed engineering analysis in transmission-related areas such as planning, economic analysis, maintenance, design, project management and construction, and operations
- Travel may be required for the position
Education Requirements: Seeking Electrical, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering Majors. Junior and Senior candidate preferred. Must be actively pursuing a bachelors, masters or doctorate degree as indicated above and at minimum classified as a sophomore or beyond. Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher required (on a 4.0 scale).
