Delivery Manager - Hybrid (Req. #532)

Mindex’s Cloud Services division is a dedicated group of cloud experts with extensive knowledge of workloads on AWS and Azure. We are an AWS Advanced Services Partner, and specialize in cloud-native application development, application modernization, cloud managed services, cloud migration, big data, and analytics.

The Delivery Manager is accountable for the successful delivery of engineering solutions produced by cross-functional software delivery teams. They are a general specialist with a broad understanding of the full software development life cycle. They draw on a wealth of experience in various technology roles and functions including engineering, business analysis, delivery management and people management. They apply these skillsets as they oversee and direct software implementation and delivery across the portfolio of client engagements for Mindex Cloud services.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Acts as a single point of client contact and escalation. Accountable for project delivery across a portfolio of teams and projects. 
• Manages, leads, mentors, coaches, inspires, and develops agile team leaders, helping them to work within Mindex’s values and client guidelines to increase efficacy of delivery teams.
• Understands and drives Mindex delivery team alignment with the client’s mission, vision, and business value as defined by client stakeholders.
• Builds relationships with Mindex delivery teams and client stakeholders to deliver an uncompromising client experience. Plots and measures the health, status, and performance of client engagements, unblocking obstacles when present.

Requirements

• AS or BS degree. Computer Science, Engineering, or related area preferred, but not required
• Proven experience in functional people management with the ability to coach and mentor teams in the way of people, process, and technology
• Strong background in Agile software development methodologies
• Experience with all aspects of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and experience working with AWS or Microsoft Azure Cloud platforms
