The group develops new cellulose ethers, redispersible powders and latex binders for the construction industry. They also carry out practical application-oriented research projects involving Dow Construction Chemicals’ global customer base.</p><p></p><p>Project description </p><p>The Dow Construction Chemicals is exploring new biobased material. We would like to offer two intern positions to support our biobased material development for construction applications by developing novel formulations and analysing the effect of modifications to resulting formulation characteristics.</p><p>In their DCC project an intern develops and learns about laboratory scale formulation and performance test methods for cement-based mortars and gypsum-based materials. Design of experiment (DOE) on new biobased additive composition and cement-based mortar formulations will be planed/designed in close cooperation with their supervisor.
