We are currently hiring a Patterns/Tracer Operator in our Berea, OH location!
Pay Rate: $19/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday 12pm – 8:30pm

What you’ll do:
Inspect frames for proper shape and trace all frame types (hide a bevel, grooved, drilled)
Modify frame shapes and process paper tracings as needed
Remove lenses from frames and sort components appropriately
Calibrate tracing equipment and log machine readings daily
Generate accurate plastic patterns for lens manufacturing
Maintain organized workstation and notify supervisor of any equipment issues
Ensure quality standards are met throughout the tracing process
Operate pattern tracing machines to capture frame specifications and lens shapes
Qualifications:
• Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements and quality assessment
• Understanding of various eyewear frame types (hide a bevel, grooved, drilled) and construction
• Ability to work with various frame styles, materials, and paper tracings
• Quality control mindset with ability to identify frame defects and irregularities
• Organizational skills for parts sorting and workstation maintenance
• Communication skills for reporting issues and machine performance to supervisors
• Data logging and record-keeping abilities
- High School Diploma or equivalent

Additional Duties
- Will be cross trained to perform other lab duties as assigned and when needed.
