Software Quality Assurance Analyst

Job Description

Write test plans and scripts in connection with performing testing on new software development and changes to existing software in order to ensure compliance to company standards and end-user requirements. Perform Software Quality Assurance (SQA) activities on projects including creating estimates, and planning and facilitating defect review meetings with IT. Reporting testing status to the SQA Manager, IT Project Managers and upper management to ensure software problems are resolved efficiently. Responsible for reviewing business requirements, system designs and creating detailed test plans and test scripts for both manual and automated software testing. Write, maintain, and execute automated test script for web-based applications involving cross browser testing using Selenium with C# and Java. Write, maintain, and perform automated testing on REST API’s using POSTMAN.

Minimum Requirements

Requires Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology Management, or a related field and 5 years of experience in the position offered or 5 years of experience performing functional and automated testing of web applications including creating test plans, executing test cases and creating defects within a test case management tool. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience as stated, employer will accept a Master’s or foreign equivalent degree in aforementioned fields and 3 years of experience as stated. Also requires 2 years of experience: leading end to end testing activities from requirements refinement through design and implementation for IT projects; testing SAP Commerce and Microsoft Dynamics based ERP systems; creating and running automated tests on Selenium based frameworks with C# and leveraging source cod versioning tools; testing REST API based systems and experience automating APIs within POSTMAN; and querying SQL databases.

*Position reports to office in Centennial, CO. Position may work from home but must live within commuting distance of stated office.

We are offering a salary of $128,398 to $141,237/year.
