The Opportunity:


CACI is seeking a Metrics and Financial Analyst to join our project operations team on a contract supporting Department of Homeland Security. This position is responsible for facilitating the process to collect and analyze usage requirements and will provide advice and recommendations on process best practices for reporting on key performance Matrices. Candidates will perform data analysis to identify trends, work with clients to understand and define needs and develop and recommend reporting solutions. In addition, candidates will interact and communicate with management, and IT personnel to develop continual service improvements.


Responsibilities:

• Monitor and query ServiceNow to analyze demand, usage, and performance.
• Develop, track and report on key performance metrics, service level agreements, industry best practices and methods.
• Utilize Excel to synthesize equipment end of life information and financial budget spend details pertaining to IT hardware and Software.
• Use data analytics to provide actionable, timely and accurate reporting to improve service delivery.
• Analyze, define, and report on trends identified in the data.
• Leverage the various reporting and presentation tools to provide analysis and recommendations.
• Design and build dashboards and reports in ServiceNow and/or PowerBI to support our program.
• Manipulates and simplifies large data sets to find, extract, and summarize key records and features, and to explain their relevance to operational issues.
• Produces finished analysis products which are suitable for presentation to senior leadership with little or no oversight or review.
• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
• Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
• Locate and define new process improvement and Continual Service Improvement (CSI) opportunities.
• Continuous monitoring of performance metrics and service level agreements to ensure they are being met or exceeded, calling attention to those at risk.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.



Qualifications:

Required: 

• Ability to obtain DoD Security Clearance
• Ability to obtain Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Entry On Duty (EOD) - Active EOD preferred
• Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of experience.
• A good understanding of ITSM delivery and ITIL processes
• Experience generating reports, conducting data analysis, and creating dashboards in Excel
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Extensive experience with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), MS Teams and Office 365
• Strong meeting facilitation and presenting abilities
• Excellent organization, self-starter and capable of transitioning between working independently and as part of a larger teamITILv4 Foundation certification (not required to start but expected to attain in first six months)
• Flexibility to work at different locations within the National Capital Region (DC and National Harbor, MD)

• Extensive PowerBI experience, including dashboard development
