The People Resources Generalist is responsible for supporting the People Resources department on a professional and administrative level, in all functional areas of People Resources, including; documentation tracking/compliance, benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, affirmative action and employment law compliance. The People Resources Generalist also provides world class customer service during all interactions, both internal and external.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide PR support to People Resources Business Partners in the areas of employee relations, onboarding, terminations and unemployment, as well as administrative.
- Gather, clean, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, correlations, and anomalies.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to present insights in a clear and compelling manner.
- Fully manage and maintain the complete cycle of the license renewal process, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, timely submissions, and accurate documentation.
- Provide basic to mid-level PR policy guidance and interpretation including, PTO, tracking logs, bereavement, separations, changes, etc.
- Process separations administratively and communicate necessary information to employee and manager.
- Manage the entire Exit Interview process; analyze, summarize, and distribute to relevant departments accordingly on a monthly basis.
- Complete verifications of employment as requested.
- Maintain and update FOX Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Employee Handbook and FOX4U.
- Process People Resources department mail on a weekly basis.
- Assist in the implementation of promotions, transfers and salary adjustments in HRIS and RT.
- Understand labor policy changes and ensure compliance with applicable state and federal laws.
- File EEO-1 report annually; maintain other records, reports and logs to conform to EEO regulations.
- Participate in developing department goals, objectives and systems.
- Conduct research as needed on topics or questions that arise within the PR department, relating to new laws, changes or general PR concerns brought to the department's attention.
- Cross train on basic LOA responsibilities and assist with leave administration. - Create and maintain staff morale tracking system across the practice.
- Maintain state mandated sick time calculations and reporting.
- Conduct regular departmental audits such as professional licenses, employment agreements, etc.
- Maintain labor and employment compliance posters within Home Office as well as practice-wide.
- Act as liaison on international employee communication between employee and attorney.
- Ad hoc requests and projects, as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 1+ years of progressive HR experience.
- Belief in the value of the HR function.
