For more than 80 years, the nonprofit organization and its partners in advertising, media, marketing and tech have been behind some of the country's most iconic social impact campaigns – Smokey Bear, Friends Don’t Let Friends Drive Drunk, Tear the Paper Ceiling and many more.</span></p></div><p></p> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(52, 73, 94);"><strong>Job summary</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">The Ad Council is looking for an <span style="color: rgb(52, 73, 94);"><strong>Assistant</strong> <strong>Manager, Marketing & Communications (Contract Employee)</strong></span> who will play a key role in creating, crafting and driving the overarching marketing and communications strategies for the Ad Council’s social impact campaigns.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">This position is perfect for someone who has strong written and oral communication skills, is a great project manager, has an appetite for learning the latest in social media, influencer and PR trends, thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys collaboration with cross-functional teammates and is passionate about social change.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(52, 73, 94);"><strong>Compensation and Length of Engagement</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">This is a contract employee role. This means that, while the position is at all times one of “at will employment”, the Ad Council anticipates at present that the employment length would be approximately 6 months with the possibility to extend the contract. The compensation for this position is $5,250 monthly (overtime eligible), paid semi-monthly. Contract employees will be eligible to participate in limited benefits and paid time off.
