Accounts Receivable Clerk

VSC Fire & Security in Richmond, Virginia is seeking candidates for the position of Accounts Receivable Clerk.

 What you need:

• Knowledge and experience in general office functions
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/ Outlook)
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and organization
• Ability to represent the Company in a professional manner
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and integrity
• Visual acuity for PC and record keeping activities, auditory acuity for telephone use, and digital dexterity for PC use are required.

 What you will do:

• Cash, Credit Card and ACH Payment Application determine proper application of all cash receipts through use and knowledge of Intacct software and working with district staff.
• Email Distribution to determine proper distribution of accounts receivable emails.
• Deposits scan checks into bank software and balance deposits.
• Copy, file, and scan documents as requested
• Help to process daily mail
• Processing of credit card payments in the company portal
